Figure 1 - Start of the Growing Season.

We see in figure 2 that the end of the season may be as early as December in the south-east of the island to mid February closer to the island's centre.

The start and end of the growing season dictates the length of the end of the season. We see that closer to the the island's centre, farmers can have at least 250 rain fed growing days. However around the south of the island this drops to around 170 days.
